“Roberto De Martino’s willingness and ability
to abstract his subjects from their own space-time dimension,
are the ways in which the artist makes eternal his photos and turns them into an image.
The interest in the detail and the love for geometry, symmetries and pure forms, the care of the framing
and perspective combined use of diaphragms extremely close to obtain a greater depth are the features
and tools with which the artist makes these "images"
beautiful to look at and exciting to watch.
In every shot no matter trying to figure out who or what was the subject of the photograph,
the context in which it belonged, had been part of that reality, thanks to the expert eye of the photographer,
it has turned into a new reality with laws and regulations other than those which we are accustomed,
